Mina Protocol integrates Celestia's modular data availability layer to enhance zkApps throughput
ChainCatcher news, the zero-knowledge proof public chain Mina Protocol announced a partnership with the modular blockchain project Celestia. The Mina ecosystem will integrate Celestia's modular decentralized data availability (DA) solution.
It is reported that the integration project is led by the zk-SNARKs pioneer team Geometry Research, with technical support from o1Labs.
In addition, by introducing Celestia's DA solution, Mina's zkApps will gain significant capability enhancements, especially in handling large-scale off-chain data, where the throughput of zkApps will see further improvements. This collaboration coincides with Mina's upcoming mainnet upgrade, which will bring a more user-friendly zkApp programming model, expected to significantly increase developer activity and the number of products in the Mina ecosystem.
