MakerDAO new proposal: Aiming to lower the stability fee rate and Dai savings rate

ChainCatcher message, MakerDAO has released a new executive proposal, and MKR holders and delegates can vote to support the changes listed below. The proposal includes a reduction in rates for Ethereum, wBTC, WSTETH, and DSR, as well as adjustments to various protocol parameters. MKR holders and delegates are encouraged to participate in the voting to help shape the future direction of MakerDAO.

If the executive proposal passes, the following actions will be taken on the Maker protocol:

  1. Changes to stability fees and Dai savings rate: The stability fees for ETH, WSTETH, and WBTC will be reduced, and the DSR will be lowered to 10%.

  2. Compensation alignment for delegates and AVC members: Aligned delegates will receive a compensation of 214.55 MKR, while AVC members will receive 175.14 MKR.

  3. Aave revenue sharing payment: A payment of 238,339 DAI will be made to Aave governance from the surplus buffer.

  4. New address whitelist for RWA015-A output channel: Add 0x6759610547a36E9597Ef452aa0B9cace91291a2f to the whitelist.

  5. Launch of USDP: A series of actions will be executed to move 84,211.27 USDP out of the input channel.

  6. Trigger Spark Proxy Spell: Upgrade the SparkLend pool implementation, add new collateral, and update and adjust other market parameters.
