ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, the Bitcoin Layer2 network Stacks has begun the Nakamoto upgrade at block height 840360. This upgrade aims to address congestion issues and will be fully activated in May.
It is reported that the Nakamoto upgrade will separate Stacks' block production schedule from Bitcoin's and will introduce a new method of Stacks block production, updating its proof-of-transfer consensus algorithm.
