On April 19, CertiK, a leading security auditing company in Web3.0, officially announced a strategic partnership with the globally renowned digital asset trading platform OKX to jointly build a comprehensive security framework. The strong alliance between CertiK and OKX marks an important advancement in the Web3.0 field. With the comprehensive establishment of this security framework, both parties may engage in extensive cooperation in areas such as auditing newly launched token contracts and Web3.0 security in the future, jointly promoting industry security standards and practices, fostering the healthy development of the Web3.0 ecosystem, and providing users with safer and more reliable services.

It is reported that CertiK has previously completed a security audit of some core modules of the OKX wallet.

CertiK was founded in 2018 by two professors from Yale University and Columbia University. The company employs formal verification, smart auditing technology, and manual auditing to comprehensively monitor blockchain and smart contract security. According to previous media reports, CertiK has discovered and assisted in fixing high-risk vulnerabilities in well-known Web3.0 projects such as SUI, Aptos, COSMOS, and the WormHole cross-chain bridge. It has received two acknowledgments from Apple for discovering security vulnerabilities in the Apple iOS kernel.
