The X Layer public mainnet is now live, co-building an ecosystem with over 200 dApps

Today we officially launched our Layer2 public mainnet------X LAYER, co-building an ecosystem with over 200 dApps.
X LAYER has been integrated with OKX exchange (CEX) and OKX Web3 wallet, allowing users to seamlessly bridge assets from both platforms to X LAYER and interact with dApps deployed on the network.
X LAYER combines the X symbol representing openness and interoperability from OKX with the word LAYER, which aims to enhance the scalability of blockchain networks. X LAYER is universal and does not limit innovation to a single use case. Our vision is that on-chain developers can create new "layers" for various use cases using X LAYER and its infrastructure.
Progress Since the Launch of the X LAYER Testnet
During the X LAYER testnet phase, over 200 dApps have joined, while thousands of developers are actively building protocols on the X LAYER network. Our goal is to enable millions to enter and exit on-chain applications more cheaply and quickly through the ZK technology-driven, Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatible Layer 2 network X LAYER.
Among the current 200+ dApps on the X LAYER network are approximately 40 DeFi applications, 20 infrastructure applications, 12 bridging applications, 5 growth tools, 16 wallets, 10 NFT and gaming applications, 10 SocialFi, and several developer tool dApps.
Some of the most popular Web3 dApps are being built on X LAYER:
- DeFi dApps like Curve, Renzo, and QuickSwap
- Infrastructure applications including Layerzero, Wormhole, EigenLayer (DA)
Now that the X LAYER public mainnet is live, our focus is to attract as many developers and users as possible to participate. Our goal is to incentivize and promote innovation based on ZK technology L2 by providing a seamless and efficient on-chain experience.
Long-Term Goals of X LAYER
We are essentially a technology company that has evolved into one of the largest crypto ecosystems in the world since our establishment in 2014. We believe in the transformative power of blockchain and have invested resources and time to create the world's most powerful Web3 products.

- Empowering builders and creators
- Collaborating with Polygon Labs to provide builders with an advanced tech stack
- Working closely with builders to help them realize their vision on our L2 chain
- Timely release of documentation to clearly guide developers through the development process
- Providing a platform for developers to test dApps with millions of active on-chain users
- Cheaper and faster on-chain experience
- Significantly reducing transaction fees to make dApp interactions more economical
- Improving TPS through optimized transaction batching and approvals
In the past few years, we launched the first self-custody wallet and subsequently introduced new services within the wallet, such as search, exchange, and cross-chain capabilities across hundreds of on-chain networks. Additionally, we have introduced innovative features like Ordinals and creator tools to accommodate diverse on-chain activity use cases. At the end of last year, we announced the development of the Ethereum L2 plan, believing it will be the next fundamental module to improve how users interact with on-chain applications.
We understand our Web3 ecosystem through the following Web3 foundational modules, metaphorically described as transportation methods like cars, destinations, services, and highways.
