UXUY co-founder Jordan: Hong Kong is not only the home of Web3, but also my home

A year ago, we secured the first funding for UXUY in Hong Kong, and with the support of various Hong Kong VCs, UXUY set sail here.
Today, we return to the starting point and establish the UXUY Asia AI R&D Center (Hong Kong), which signifies our commitment to giving back to Hong Kong and rooting ourselves here.
Over the past year, we have traveled to many places, including Miami, Denver, Silicon Valley, Istanbul, Dubai, Seoul, Montenegro, and Amsterdam… I have to admit that fundraising anywhere in the world is far more challenging than in Hong Kong.
My team and I often joke: Luckily, there’s still Hong Kong!
However, we did not disappoint our Hong Kong investors. This year, UXUY not only received incubation and investment from Binance Labs but also built bridges for the Bitcoin Lightning Network and multi-chain ecosystem, with user numbers surpassing 100,000.
The achievements of UXUY are enough to prove that the investors in Hong Kong truly have vision!
Our team arrived in Hong Kong and has been shuttling between various venues and stages. On April 5, at the invitation of BMAN, I guest-hosted a roundtable discussion at the Bitcoin Day organized by ABCDE Capital, and in the afternoon, I rushed to share my views on AI + Web3 at the Hong Kong Web 3.0 Spring Summit hosted by Meta Era; on April 6, we held the UXUY ♥ HK event at the Wan Tong Insurance Building, where hundreds of guests witnessed the establishment of the UXUY Asia AI R&D Center in Hong Kong; on April 7, Xingkong hosted a dialogue event with a group of Bixin Portfolio, where I met many friends from Bixin for the first time, and also attended the DeSoc Unleashed event organized by Tako Protocol; on April 8, I not only participated in the 2024 DePIN Global Hardware Conference hosted by our investor JDI Global but also shared my views on Web3 user security at the User Security Summit organized by GoPlus.
There is no place in the world as busy as Hong Kong. It wasn't until the end of the conference that I realized Hong Kong is not only the main stage for Web3 but also the main stage for UXUY.
