Gate.io and AWS co-host the "AI Meets Blockchain" event to explore the integration of blockchain and generative AI

As a leading cryptocurrency exchange and Web3 innovator, Gate.io collaborated with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and sponsors Qraft and Masa to host a themed event titled "Future Fusion: When AI Meets Blockchain" at the Hong Kong Web3 Carnival. During the event, AWS delivered a keynote speech on the integration of blockchain and generative AI, and industry professionals and leaders engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as AI and compliance in Hong Kong.

The opening panel discussion, "Exploring the Cryptocurrency Landscape in Hong Kong," was moderated by April Zheng, Deputy Director of Financial Risk Management at KPMG. The discussion focused on the views, insights, and expectations of the attending experts regarding Hong Kong's digital asset regulatory environment. The panel included guests such as Edwin Cheung, Head of Business Development at Gate.HK, Alvin Kwock, Founder of OneDegree, Kang Li, Chief Security Officer at CertiK, and Sean Lee, Senior Advisor at the Crypto Council for Innovation.

In a keynote speech by John Liu, Head of Amazon Blockchain Services, he explored how Web3 and generative AI can mutually promote and drive innovation, benefiting users and developers. He particularly emphasized the potential of Web3 in addressing trust and transparency issues in generative AI, as well as the importance of these two technologies in opening up new development prospects.

In the second forum themed "How AI is Changing Web3, Trading, and the Future Rules of the Game," Ray Wong, Founding Partner of Asymmetry Capital, moderated a discussion featuring several experts and industry leaders, including John Liu, Francis Oh, Chief Operating Officer and CEO for Asia Pacific at Qraft Technologies, Calanthia Mei, Co-founder of Masa, Amos Zhang, Early Contributor to NEAR and Founder of MetaWeb.VC, and Edward Zuo, Core Contributor at Pyth Data Association. They focused on the intersection of blockchain and AI as disruptive technologies in the industry and market. The discussion highlighted that in the future, Web3 and trading may largely rely on AI, and companies that can effectively leverage these technologies will gain a competitive advantage in the market.

The event successfully explored the increasingly mature regulatory environment in Hong Kong and highlighted the potential of blockchain and AI to change the world.
