It is reported that the Chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, Republican Patrick McHenry from North Carolina, and the senior Democratic member of the committee, Democratic Congresswoman Maxine Waters from California, met with Chuck Schumer on Thursday in an attempt to advance the legislative process.
