Binance Chief Compliance Officer: Working with the Nigerian government to secure the release of detained executives

ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, Binance's Chief Compliance Officer Noah Perlman stated at a cybersecurity conference hosted by Chainalysis that Binance is doing its utmost to cooperate with the Nigerian government to ensure the release of Tigran Gambaryan, the head of financial crime investigations who is currently detained.

He mentioned that Gambaryan came to the country at the invitation of the Nigerian government. Perlman expressed being "optimistic" about reaching a solution for Gambaryan's release with the Nigerian government but declined to disclose specific details.
