ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, Web3 AI startup Sapien has completed a $5 million seed funding round, with participation from Primitive Ventures, Animoca, Ravikant Capital, and Yield Guild Games. Sapien will use the funds to enhance its artificial intelligence to better guide and assist its data labeling. The funds will also be used to expand Sapien's blockchain infrastructure to establish its human labeling team.

It is reported that Sapien uses rewards on the blockchain to essentially gamify data labeling, which is an essential process for advancing AI-driven language learning models (such as OpenAI's Chat GPT). Data labeling involves tagging text, images, and various types of files with labels, enabling machine learning models to interpret data and learn from it.
