New Zealand's Minister of Business: New Zealand should support the development of the cryptocurrency industry
ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, New Zealand's Minister of Commerce Andrew Bayly stated in response to the country's legislative committee investigation that New Zealand should support the development of the cryptocurrency industry and adopt an evidence-based approach to regulate the sector.
Andrew Bayly mentioned that the country's "wait-and-see" attitude might cause New Zealand to miss out on the benefits brought by industry development. New Zealand "should take a more proactive and innovation-friendly approach to digital assets and blockchain (including cryptocurrencies)."
