VanEck CEO: The crypto industry should focus more on on-chain transaction fees rather than Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs
ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, VanEck CEO Jan van Eck believes that the cryptocurrency industry should focus more on transaction fees rather than overly concentrating on Bitcoin and Ethereum or their related ETFs. He pointed out that the transaction fees on the Bitcoin and Ethereum blockchains are unstable, so more attention should be paid to the transaction fees of Solana or various L2 networks.
He also stated that the Ethereum spot ETF is unlikely to be approved before the May deadline, as, unlike the approval process for the Bitcoin spot ETF, the U.S. SEC has not responded to the applications from potential issuers.
