NEAR grants $4 million to launch the Infrastructure Committee

ChainCatcher news, the NEAR Foundation has announced the establishment of an Infrastructure Committee aimed at allocating funds in a transparent manner to support key infrastructure projects within the NEAR ecosystem. The committee has an initial funding of $4 million and will focus on the construction and improvement of critical infrastructure such as RPC nodes, relayers, indexers, bridges, wallets, load balancers, and oracles.

Currently, the committee has funded 5 key infrastructure proposals covering areas such as AI development environments, RPC nodes, and Web3 wallet support, and has taken over the management of some existing projects. The NEAR Foundation encourages community members to contribute innovative infrastructure project ideas and proposals to further enhance NEAR's technical foundation.
