Galaxy Digital is seeking to establish a new $100 million fund focused on crypto startups
According to ChainCatcher news and a report by CoinDesk, Galaxy Digital recently stated in an email to investors that it is currently seeking to raise $100 million for a new fund named Galaxy Ventures Fund I, LP. The goal is to invest in up to 30 cryptocurrency startups over the next three years, including financial applications, software infrastructure, and crypto protocol development, with a minimum investment threshold of $1 million.
It is worth noting that although Galaxy Digital has invested approximately $200 million in over 100 projects over the past six years, this is the first time Galaxy Digital is accepting external capital for the establishment of a new fund.
