Namada releases a governance-based roadmap, which will launch the mainnet in five phases
ChainCatcher news, according to Decrypt, the multi-chain data protection Layer1 Namada has released its proposed mainnet launch roadmap, which reveals that the mainnet will be launched in five phases, driven in a decentralized manner by the Namada community through Namada's on-chain governance system:
- The first phase "Block Party" will introduce on-chain governance and enable proof of stake;
- The second phase "Staking Party" will introduce staking rewards for delegators and validators;
- The third phase "Shielding Party" will enable the transfer and shielding of governance-supported IBC assets;
- The fourth phase "Shielding Rewards Party" will introduce shielding rewards for governance assets;
- The fifth phase "NAM Party" will enable NAM transfers.
It is reported that Namada is currently in the public testnet phase, during which validators are stress testing the network. Once completed, the genesis block proposal will be published and discussed by the community before entering the launch process.
