COTI: The V2 white paper has been released, aiming to promote new breakthroughs in Ethereum L2 confidentiality and performance
ChainCatcher news, the DAG payment network COTI announced the official release of its V2 white paper, aiming to lead a new revolution in confidentiality and performance for Ethereum L2.
It is reported that COTI V2 adopts a unique combination of confidentiality technologies, with the key technology being the Garbling Protocol, achieving a computation speed that is 1000 times faster than similar solutions, reducing storage requirements by 250 times, and decreasing latency by 100 times.
In addition, gcEVM, as an innovative extension to the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), designed by Soda Labs, introduces confidentiality to blockchain transactions, allowing secure computation on encrypted data. COTI V2 also proposes a new concept of decentralized ordering, enhancing security and transparency using an improved PBFT algorithm, providing strong support for use cases such as confidential transactions, decentralized finance (DeFi), and artificial intelligence (AI) in the Web3 era, accelerating the widespread adoption of Web3.
