Forbes Global Billionaires List: The total wealth of 17 entrants from the cryptocurrency industry reaches 93 billion dollars

ChainCatcher news, Forbes has released the 2024 Global Billionaires List, which includes 17 individuals from the cryptocurrency sector. The total value of the crypto assets, publicly disclosed stock portfolios, and private wealth held by these investors and entrepreneurs is estimated to be around $93 billion, more than double the total wealth of the 9 crypto billionaires listed last year ($37 billion).

It is reported that Binance founder and former CEO Changpeng Zhao has become the richest person in cryptocurrency for the third consecutive year, with a current net worth estimated at $33 billion, up from $10.5 billion last year, ranking 50th on the global billionaires list. Other notable entries include Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong ($11.2 billion) and MicroStrategy CEO Michael Saylor ($4.4 billion).
