MakerDAO is considering allocating 600 million DAI to USDe and sUSDe
ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, MakerDAO is considering allocating up to $600 million worth of the stablecoin DAI to USDe and its staked version sUSDe, with this operation being carried out through the DeFi lending protocol Morpho Labs.
It is reported that both USDe and sUSDe are issued by the stablecoin developer Ethena Labs. If the proposal is confirmed by the MakerDAO community, it will help Ethena's total locked value grow to meet internal expectations.
Currently, the supply of USDe has reached 1.34 billion, accounting for 1.74% of the total supply of Ethereum stablecoins.
