Base protocol leader: The Base gas target has been increased to 5mgas/s

ChainCatcher news, Base protocol head Jesse Pollak posted on social media that the team has increased Base's gas target to 5 mgas/s, so gas fees are rapidly decreasing and are expected to stabilize at a lower level—despite the potential increase in demand.

It is reported that the team's long-term goal is to achieve 1 Ggas/s (which is currently 400 times), and more information about the latest progress will be shared in the coming weeks.
