ChainCatcher news, according to official sources, Degen has announced a partnership with Web3 infrastructure Syndicate to launch the L3 chain DegenChain, with DEGEN as the native Gas token.

It is reported that this chain is built on the Arbitrum Orbit technology layer and will settle transactions on Base (Ethereum Layer 2 DEGEN launch), utilizing AnyTrust for data availability services. L3 provides additional utility for the DEGEN token, which now serves as the network Gas token for Degen Chain.

DEGEN founder Jacek pointed out that some applications focused on social networks have already expressed interest in building on Degen Chain, including the Farcaster framework PayBot, Perl, and LottoPGF.
