OKX's global compliance officer has resigned after six months in office
ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, OKX's Global Chief Compliance Officer and Head of Anti-Money Laundering Patrick Donegan's LinkedIn profile shows that he left OKX just six months after joining. Donegan managed a team of 300 people globally; he joined OKX in August 2023 and left in January 2024.
Donegan describes himself as a regulatory expert in anti-money laundering, possessing "the skills to develop policies and procedures, meet regulatory expectations, while driving business initiatives and building strong relationships with regulators." Previously, he was the Chief Compliance Officer and Senior Vice President at Signature Bank, which was once friendly to cryptocurrency, serving there for nearly 8 years.
