The Avalanche Foundation has launched a community funding program through Gitcoin
ChainCatcher news, the Avalanche Foundation is launching the Avalanche Community Grant Program, which encourages projects and developers to build within the continuously evolving Avalanche ecosystem. The foundation will collaborate with Gitcoin, the largest and longest-running Web3 grant program, to allocate grant funds to match community donations and support crowdfunding within the ecosystem.
For the first time, the Avalanche community can play a direct role in deciding which projects the foundation will fund. Submissions for the first round of grants will open on March 26. Any team or individual that has contributed to the Avalanche ecosystem in the past or plans to contribute in the future is eligible to apply.
The Avalanche Community Grants will be conducted in multiple rounds, each with its own criteria, deadlines, and funding limits. Each round will utilize a combination of Gitcoin grant stacks as well as secondary and retroactive funding to optimize the grant program.
