ChainCatcher news, the DePIN project MetaBlox has exceeded 100,000 global nodes, with network coverage in over 100 countries. In addition, MetaBlox will soon upgrade to a new brand name, Roam. Its mission remains focused on advancing global WiFi connectivity and access.
According to the RootData page, MetaBlox completed a $5 million strategic round of financing by the end of 2023, led by Anagram and Volt Capital, with participation from Comma3 Ventures, ECMC Group, Awesome People Ventures, Stratified Capital, DePIN Labs, Future 3 Campus, IoTeX, ZC Capital, and JDI. Additionally, angel round participants Synergis and SNZ continued to invest in the strategic round.
