Dolomite will offer a reward of $180,000 for information on the attackers or to recover assets
ChainCatcher message, Arbitrum ecosystem Dolomite has left a message on-chain to the attacker, stating that the deadline for returning the funds and keeping 10% has passed. Dolomite will now:
- Offer a reward of $180,000 for information about the attacker or for recovering the stolen assets. Dolomite claims to already know the identity of the attacker, but confirmation from others will still be rewarded with full payment;
- Begin law enforcement activities at the federal level starting next Monday.
- By next Wednesday, share the personal details of the attacker with those in the community who were stolen from and wish to handle the matter in their preferred way.
Previously, PeckShield monitoring showed that the old contract of Dolomite Exchange was attacked, resulting in a loss of approximately $2 million. The attacker exchanged the stolen USDC tokens for about 541.5 Ethereum (ETH), worth approximately $1.9 million, and 94,000 DAI tokens.
