Reuters: The Spanish Supreme Court has ordered the temporary suspension of Telegram services in the country
ChainCatcher news, according to Reuters citing court sources, the Spanish High Court has ordered the suspension of the country's messaging application Telegram, due to complaints from media companies that the app allows users to upload their content without permission.
Based on requests from media companies including Atresmedia (A3M.MC), EGEDA, Mediaset (GETVF.PK), and Telefonica (TEF.MC), Spain will temporarily suspend users' access to Telegram starting Monday.
It is reported that Telegram did not immediately respond to requests for comment. The spokesperson for the Spanish High Court did not respond to requests for comment.
