ChainCatcher news, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority has received public inquiries regarding companies falsely claiming to be selected for the "e-HKD" pilot program, promoting e-HKD products to attract public investment. The Monetary Authority reminds the public that all companies selected for the "e-HKD" pilot program will be announced by the Monetary Authority.

The Monetary Authority also sternly points out that all companies selected for the "e-HKD" pilot program and other institutions participating in the Monetary Authority's "sandbox" program will not raise funds from the public or provide any investment products in the name of the relevant programs.
