The Sandbox's First Game Jam in Taiwan
During the Meetup, there will also be a preview of the Game Jam expected to be held at the end of May, which will be The Sandbox's first Game Jam event in Taiwan. In the past, The Sandbox has established partnerships with well-known companies and projects from various countries and regions, involving both Web2 and Web3 fields, including heavyweight partners like PwC, HSBC, DBS, Gucci Vault, Steve Aoki, and Care Bears. Recently, they also launched a Global Game Jam in collaboration with Mocaverse, with total rewards reaching 50,000 SAND (over a million) and 20 plots of land.
Participants in Game Jam Taiwan will not only have the chance to win substantial prizes but also the opportunity to showcase and list their works on The Sandbox platform. Additionally, winning entries will be exhibited offline at the Asia Blockchain Summit in August, which is expected to attract over 10,000 participants, and outstanding teams will have the opportunity for incubation and investment from TempoX.
Game Gang Night Designed for Gamers
Following this, on March 21, a grand "Game Gang Night" will be held, gathering well-known gaming platforms such as The Sandbox, Matr1x, and Pomerium, with an expected attendance of 100-150 gamers, KOLs, and project representatives. In this event, renowned KOL JZ Invest will serve as the moderator for a roundtable discussion with three project representatives: Erich from The Sandbox, Ray from Matr1x, and Cherry from Pomerium, exploring how to seize the future gaming throne amid the impending GameFi wave.
