Poll: Trump More Favored by Cryptocurrency Voters in U.S. Presidential Election
ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, a poll commissioned by the crypto investment firm Paradigm shows that U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump is the preferred choice among cryptocurrency voters.
The online survey conducted by the polling company Public Opinion Strategies revealed that about 48% of cryptocurrency holders intend to vote for Trump, while 39% lean towards Joe Biden.
The survey gathered opinions from 1,000 voters, of which approximately 7% reported holding more than $1,000 in cryptocurrency, and about 19% had purchased some cryptocurrency. When asked which U.S. political party they trust to address cryptocurrency issues, nearly half of the voters (49%) chose "neither."
Justin Slaughter and Dominique Little from Paradigm wrote in a blog post describing the survey results: "A significant number of voters are looking for policymakers who can boldly chart a course for cryptocurrency policy."
