According to ChainCatcher news and monitoring by Yu Jing, the Optimism Foundation has recently completed an on-chain transfer of 19.51 million OP (approximately 89 million USD) to 6 private investors 17 hours ago.
The Optimism Foundation previously announced on the governance forum that it had completed a private sale, selling approximately 19.5 million OP. These OP will have a 2-year lock-up period, but during the lock-up period, buyers can delegate the tokens to an unrelated third party to participate in governance.
