Arbitrum DAO removes the proposal to donate one million dollars to Tornado Cash developers

ChainCatcher news, Arbitrum DAO has removed the proposal to donate approximately 1.28 million dollars worth of ARB tokens to Tornado Cash developers Roman Storm and Alexey Pertsev. The reason is that token holders expressed concerns about the potential legal risks associated with such donations.

It is reported that Arbitrum contributor ImmutableLawyer submitted a proposal last Wednesday to provide a legal defense fund for Tornado Cash developers Storm and Pertsev with 200,000 to 600,000 ARB (approximately 1.2 million dollars). On Friday, the proposal was deleted at the request of its author. Insiders say that ArbitrumDAO members are still considering other ways to fund the developers' legal litigation.
