ChainCatcher news, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Harvard University alumni have jointly established the MIT x Harvard Blockchain Accelerator, focusing on supporting early Web3 founders associated with both schools.

The MIT x Harvard Blockchain Accelerator is a non-dilutive program, meaning it does not take any equity from the accepted startups.

The four core contributors of the accelerator are Lehman, Luke Xie, and Hannah Shen from MIT, and Liang Wu from Harvard University. One of the core contributors, Sam Lehman, stated, "The startups we accelerate do not give us any equity. We have no plans to invest or provide funding in the short term; we focus purely on mentorship."

Additionally, the founding mentors of the accelerator include Tieshun Roquerre (also known as "Pacman"), founder of Blur and Blast, Keone Hon and Eunice Giarta, co-founders of Monad Labs, Kenny Li, co-founder of Manta, and Mirza Uddin, head of business development at Injective Labs. (The Block)
