Currently, Niubite (niubite.com) has a weekly win rate and profit rate that can outperform most investors in the market.

In this bull market, the RWA (Real-World Assets) sector is also a key area worth our focus, as several annual research reports from various institutions have highlighted the enormous potential of RWA in the future.

Boston Consulting Group has predicted that the tokenized asset market could surge to $16 trillion by 2030, while Citigroup has stated that by 2030, there will be $4 trillion to $5 trillion in tokenized digital securities.

The tokenization of real-world assets (RWA) is also developing in areas such as bonds, cars, gold, and real estate, successfully attracting the interest and attention of traditional financial giants.

According to data from Defillama, the total TVL of the RWA sector has reached over $4 billion, ranking 10th in total TVL among all sector categories.

Moreover, in the past year, the TVL of the RWA sector has nearly grown sixfold, and in this bull market, the RWA sector is expected to give rise to some hundredfold projects.

What are the notable quality projects in the RWA sector? In this article, we will review some quality projects within the RWA sector.

1. ONDO

ONDO is currently considered the leading project in the RWA sector, a recently popular project that is generally viewed positively in the market.

ONDO is a financial protocol focused on the RWA sector, primarily working within a compliant framework to tokenize high-quality assets such as U.S. Treasury bonds and money market funds for investment and trading by users on the blockchain.

The team behind Ondo Finance is quite prestigious, with a Wall Street background, and both capital and market-making come from Wall Street firms. From its inception, it has received support from institutions like BlackRock and Morgan Stanley, as well as investments from top venture capital firms including Founders Fund, Pantera Capital, and Coinbase Ventures.

According to data from the Defillama platform, Ondo currently ranks third in total TVL within the RWA sector.

As for the price of the ONDO token, it has neither surged nor plummeted significantly, showing a pattern of gradual increase. The market-making management team has performed very steadily, and the current market capitalization of the ONDO token has reached over $700 million.

From the above situation, most second-tier exchanges have listed it, while Binance and OKX have yet to list the spot trading, apart from Coinbase.

2. Centrifuge (CFG)

Centrifuge is also a star project in the RWA sector, a decentralized asset financing protocol focused on unlocking the liquidity of real-world assets, allowing borrowers to finance their real-world assets without banks or other intermediaries.

Founded in 2017, the founding team includes several members with experience in traditional supply chain finance, bringing years of industry expertise. Centrifuge connects real-world assets to DeFi to lower capital costs for small and medium-sized enterprises and provides DeFi investors with stable income sources unrelated to volatile crypto assets.

According to data from the Rootdata platform, Centrifuge has completed four rounds of financing, raising a total of $15.8 million, with investors including top-tier institutions like Coinbase and IOSG. This strong VC lineup has brought Centrifuge abundant resources in product development, funding, and compliance.

According to data from RWA.xyz, Centrifuge ranks first in the private credit sub-sector, with a total loan amount reaching $530 million.

The Centrifuge platform token CFG has a market capitalization of over $300 million, and it has been listed on most mainstream second-tier exchanges, except for OKX, while Binance and Coinbase have yet to list it.

3. GoldFinch (GFI)

GoldFinch is another star project in the RWA sector, an open-source credit protocol based on Ethereum that allows crypto lending without collateral, functioning as an unsecured loan protocol.

For most crypto lending protocols, excessive collateral is typically required, which undoubtedly deters many participants. In contrast, GoldFinch issues loans based on collective assessments from other participants rather than through excessive collateralization of cryptocurrencies.

The two founders of GoldFinch, Michael Sall and Blake West, both come from Coinbase.

According to data from the Rootdata platform, GoldFinch has completed three rounds of financing, raising $37 million, with a luxurious lineup of investors, including a16z and Coinbase, both of which participated in two rounds of investment, along with other investors like BlockTower.

According to statistics from the Coingecko platform, the market capitalization of the GoldFinch platform token GFI has reached over $90 million, and it has been listed on Coinbase, while Binance and OKX have yet to list it.

4. Realio (RIO)

Realio is a leading project in the real estate RWA sector, providing comprehensive blockchain solutions for issuers, fund managers, and technology providers. Realio focuses on the tokenization of private equity tools in real estate and provides DeFi liquidity pools for real assets.

Additionally, Realio has built an L1 blockchain network based on RWA, which undoubtedly expands Realio's potential. Besides real estate, it is also committed to the tokenization of other real-world assets. As one of the few real estate + RWA public chain projects in the RWA sector, Realio has garnered significant market attention.

According to data from the Coingecko platform, the market capitalization of the Realio platform token RIO is currently over $40 million, with a recent 24-hour trading volume of over $5 million.

As a second-phase project of OKX Jumpstart staking mining, the token trading has been launched on OKX, while Binance and Coinbase have yet to list it, and some second-tier exchanges have not listed it either.

5. Credefi (CREDI)

Credefi is a middleware in the DeFi space based on Ethereum and BNB Chain, connecting cryptocurrency lenders with small and medium-sized enterprise borrowers from the real economy. Credefi provides decentralized and protected loans for company portfolios, safeguarding lenders while offering fixed APY that is unrelated to crypto market volatility.

In November 2021, Credefi secured an investment of $1.8 million, with participation from ZBS Capital, X21 Digital, Varys Capital, Skynet Trading, and others.

CREDI is the token for the Credefi platform, currently valued at over $5 million, with a price increase of over 300% in the past year. It has been listed on the Kucoin trading platform, while Binance, OKX, and Coinbase have yet to list it.

6. Maple Finance

Maple provides capital-efficient, DeFi-driven solutions for institutional borrowing and fixed-income loans. Unlike other platforms that offer collateralized loans and floating rates, Maple provides borrowers with low-collateral loans and offers transparent fixed-income opportunities for on-chain lenders.

Lenders can earn sustainable returns by providing loans to thoroughly vetted institutional borrowers, while pool representatives initiate, manage, attract capital, and commit loans within the loan pool.

According to Rootdata statistics, Maple has completed four rounds of financing, raising a total of $18.03 million, with participation from Tioga Capital, BlockTower, Polychain, Cluster Capital, and others. The most recent round of financing occurred in August of last year.

The Maple platform token is MPL, and according to Coingecko data, MPL currently has a market capitalization of $130 million, having been listed on Coinbase and Gate exchanges, while Binance and OKX have yet to list it.

In summary, in the upcoming bull market, the RWA sector is worth significant attention and investment. With the rapid development of RWA projects like ONDO, this sector is increasingly attracting market interest, and more RWA projects are emerging. In addition to the RWA projects listed above, there are many more quality RWA projects to explore for investment.
