The U.S. seeks to modify the bail conditions of Zhao Changpeng, requesting that Zhao Changpeng and his defense team inform about travel plans
ChainCatcher news, according to Blockworks, the U.S. government has requested to modify the bail conditions for former Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao before his sentencing. In documents submitted on Friday, the U.S. government wrote: "The original bail conditions were based on the expectation that Zhao would reside in the United Arab Emirates, and therefore did not involve passport custody or notifying the pretrial services department of his travel plans and residence."
The U.S. government wants Zhao and his defense team to inform the government of his travel plans. Zhao's defense team has countered this modification, stating that the request is unnecessary because Zhao's travel 'has not been an issue so far.'
