ChainCatcher news, on the second day of the "SevenX Research Day: Restaked Modularity @ETHDenver" event, Renzo co-founder Lucas Kozinski shared his views on "ezETH Restaking."
During the event, Lucas introduced the utility of Renzo's LRT token ezETH. Lucas stated that, unlike other protocols that only accept native ETH or LST tokens, Renzo supports users depositing either native ETH or LST tokens, but will only generate one LRT token, ezETH. This move is aimed at preventing liquidity fragmentation and facilitating Renzo's composability around ezETH in various aspects such as DEX, lending, and oracles.
Lucas further mentioned that Renzo hopes to integrate with every Layer1 or Layer2, such as Arbitrum, BNB Chain, Mode, Base, etc., but does not want to see liquidity friction or misaligned incentives. Therefore, regardless of the form of ETH or LST deposits Renzo accepts on these networks, users will only receive ezETH as proof.
The "SevenX Research Day: Restaked Modularity @ETHDenver" is hosted by SevenX Ventures, co-organized by Mirana Ventures, and supported by EigenLayer, with leading researchers, AVS projects, and founders related to Modularity and Restaking attending to discuss industry frontiers.
