Data: Bitcoin's new whales have unrealized profits of 7.3 billion dollars, setting a new historical high
ChainCatcher news, CryptoQuant founder and CEO Ki Young Ju disclosed on X that the unrealized profits of new Bitcoin whales have reached $7.3 billion, a historical high. The unrealized profits of old whales stand at $40 billion, still below the peak of $145 billion in 2021.
Definition of long-term whales:
- Average UTXO age over 155 days (if less than 155 days, they are short-term whales);
- Balance exceeding 1000 BTC;
- No association with CEX or miners.
