Cryptocurrency custodian Anchorage Digital launches institutional self-custody wallet Porto
ChainCatcher news, according to Fortune magazine, cryptocurrency custodian Anchorage Digital has announced the launch of Porto, a self-custody wallet for institutions. This wallet is directly provided by Anchorage's digital division, allowing institutions to hold and manage their own assets, rather than having assets custodied on behalf of clients, using the same underlying technology as their banks, such as biometric authentication and asset recovery. Porto supports over 200 tokens, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Aptos, and Sui.
It is reported that Anchorage Digital received approval for a national trust charter from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency in early 2021.
