ChainCatcher news, according to the official announcement, PlayDapp stated that previously due to a hacker attack on the smart contract, 1.79 billion invalidly minted PLA tokens were issued, and therefore plans to launch a new PDA token to replace the original PLA token.

The announcement stated that the planned snapshot time is February 26 at 16:00 Beijing time. The official recommends that users do not transfer PLA tokens in or out of their wallets or any trading platform until the migration process is complete, in order to ensure the migration progress and effectively track the invalidly minted tokens.

PlayDapp will cooperate with some coordinated CEXs to migrate from PLA to PDA, compensating users holding PLA with PDA. They will compensate affected users based on the balance held by current users at the time of the snapshot, and all token holdings will be received at a 1:1 ratio based on the snapshot time. Users holding PLA tokens on these coordinated CEXs will not need to take any action.

For PLA holders whose wallets are not on the coordinated CEXs: PlayDapp has prepared a migration portal for PLA holders and will invite these users to access the migration portal later.
