ChainCatcher news, according to Cryptoslate, after Franklin Templeton applied for a spot Ethereum ETF, several analysis firms have raised the likelihood of the spot Ethereum ETF being approved in May, including:
The probability of approval on the decentralized prediction market Polymarket has risen to 48%;
Bloomberg analyst James Seyffart estimates the probability of approval to be 60%;
JPMorgan analyst Nikolaos Panigirtzoglou estimates the probability of approval in May to be 50%;
Additionally, Standard Chartered expects the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to give the green light before May 23, while TD Cowen believes that the spot Ethereum ETF will not be approved until 2025 or 2026.
