Ripple releases Q4 2023 XRP market report: Daily trading volume reaches $600 million, on-chain transaction count increases by over 30%

ChainCatcher message, according to Ripple's recently released XRP Market Report for the fourth quarter of 2023, Ripple's daily trading volume in the fourth quarter reached $600 million, an increase of over 75% compared to the low point in the third quarter; the percentage of trading volume through fiat currency pairs in the fourth quarter was similar to the previous quarter, hovering around 15%.

It is reported that in the last quarter, the number of on-chain XRP transactions increased by 34%, and the number of wallets grew by over 30%. More than half of the NFT mints occurred in the fourth quarter, representing an increase of over 400% compared to the third quarter.

As of December 31 last year, Ripple held a total of 5.077 billion XRP, down from 5.258 billion XRP on September 30 last year; the total number of XRP held in escrow was 40.7 billion, down from 41.3 billion on September 30 last year.
