CoinLedger: The average profit for cryptocurrency investors in 2023 is $887

ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, data from cryptocurrency tax software provider CoinLedger shows that in 2023, cryptocurrency investors averaged nearly $900 in net gains from selling cryptocurrencies, which stands in "stark contrast" to 2022, when several cryptocurrency companies collapsed, resulting in billions of dollars in losses for investors.

CoinLedger analyzed reports from 500,000 users and found that as the crypto industry began to recover, cryptocurrency investors achieved an average realized gain of $887.60 in 2023, a significant improvement compared to 2022. In 2022, the median realized loss for cryptocurrency investors was $7,102. CoinLedger CEO David Kemmerer stated that this outcome suggests the cryptocurrency market may be poised for a resurgence.
