ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, an online hacker claims to have access to a law enforcement request account "KodexGlobal," allowing buyers to "subpoena" user information from Coinbase, Binance, Chainlink, and many other companies.

According to a blog updated on February 4 by the cybercrime solution provider Hudson Rock, the hacker is selling access to the law enforcement request system account on BreachForums—selling full accounts for $5,000 or $300 per Emergency Data Request (EDR). The hacker claims to provide EDR services including LinkedIn, Discord, Tinder, Binance, Coinbase, Chainlink, SendGrid, and more. The report notes that abuse of this system could lead to identity theft, extortion, and financial loss, especially for users holding cryptocurrency assets.
