The chairman of the Financial Supervisory Service of South Korea plans to visit the U.S. this year to meet with the chairman of the SEC to discuss matters such as Bitcoin spot ETFs
ChainCatcher news, the chairman of the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) of South Korea, Lee Bok-hyun, is expected to visit the United States this year to meet with the chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Gary Gensler, to discuss the virtual asset (cryptocurrency) industry, including the Bitcoin spot ETF.
"(This year) I will meet with SEC Chairman Gary Gensler, and there are some areas where we will intersect, such as virtual asset issues and the Bitcoin spot ETF," Lee Bok-hyun said in response to reporters' questions at the event, "The SEC's policies now have a significant impact on the world."
