ApeCoin DAO is currently voting on whether to establish a dedicated blockchain "ApeChain," with the voting ending on February 8

ChainCatcher message, the ApeCoin DAO community is conducting a new proposal vote on Snapshot to decide whether to continue executing the proposal titled "ApeChain: Choose Builders to Build ApeChain." The purpose of this proposal is to select a supporter to establish a dedicated ApeCoin blockchain "ApeChain," aimed at expanding APE and supporting the growth of the ApeCoin ecosystem. The deadline for the new proposal vote is February 8.

The voting for the "ApeChain: Choose Builders to Build ApeChain" proposal is divided into two options: voting in favor means approval to continue the proposal voting process; voting against means disapproval to continue the proposal and deletion of the snapshot record. It is worth mentioning that Polygon Labs, Optimism co-founders, the Arbitrum Foundation, and the zkSync development team have all proposed to the ApeCoin DAO to use their technology for developing the L2 blockchain.
