Binance has frozen $4.2 million worth of XRP stolen from the personal wallet of Ripple's co-founder

ChainCatcher news, Binance CEO Richard Teng stated on the X platform that after the early detection of the exploitation of Ripple co-founder Chris Larsen's personal wallet, the Binance team successfully froze $4.2 million worth of XRP stolen by the exploiters. Binance will continue to support Ripple's investigation and efforts to recover funds, including closely monitoring most of the funds still in the exploiters' external wallets to prevent them from being deposited into Binance.

Previously, ZachXBT reported that Ripple was allegedly hacked, resulting in approximately 213 million XRP being stolen, worth about $112.5 million; Chris Larsen responded that the hacked account was a personal account, not Ripple's, and law enforcement has intervened.
