ChainCatcher news, according to official information, Klaytn V1.12.1 has been released. Klaytn v1.12.1 includes bug fixes and configuration for the Cypress mainnet hard fork block number. These hard forks have been applied to the Baobab testnet. This version contains two different hard forks. The first corresponds to the functionality of the Ethereum Cancun hard fork, and the second is an optional hard fork that implements Randao on-chain randomness.

The hard fork for the Cypress mainnet will take place at block height 147534000 (expected time: March 4, 10:00 AM UTC+9). Public network operators can enable the rpc.gascap configuration to reduce the load caused by a large number of RPC calls. It is recommended to add the -rpc.gascap 300000000 (300mil gas) flag, but an appropriate value should be chosen based on the capacity of the node.
