The proposal for the merger of Finschia and the Klaytn mainnet has opened for voting
ChainCatcher news, the public chain project Finschia under the Japanese telecommunications giant Line has announced on social media that the voting for the merger proposal with the Klaytn mainnet in South Korea has officially started on LINE Blockchain Scan.
Users can vote by staking tokens to validators, and the voting deadline is February 2, 2024, at 05:22 (UTC).
According to previous news, Finschia and Klaytn jointly proposed to merge their mainnets, and the integrated blockchain will combine Ethereum (EVM) and Cosmos (CosmWasm) technologies to provide a network with compatibility and high performance. After the mainnet merger, a new consolidated token (temporarily named PDT) will be issued, and holders of FNSA and KLAY will be able to claim this new token.
