Former Ozys security chief accused of breaching the firewall before the Orbit Bridge exploit attack
ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, Ozys's Orbit Bridge was hacked for $81.5 million. Ozys claims that its former Chief Information Security Officer weakened the company's firewall settings before leaving and has filed a lawsuit against him.
Previously reported, on January 1, Orbit Bridge was attacked, resulting in losses including $50 million in stablecoins, 231 wBTC, and 9,500 Ethereum. Ozys is investigating whether the North Korean hacker group Lazarus is involved and is collaborating with the South Korean police and cybersecurity agencies to track down the attackers and recover the assets.
