Privacy Agreement Nocturne will close version v1, and users can withdraw funds within one year
ChainCatcher news, the privacy protocol Nocturne announced that it will shut down Nocturne v1 and refocus its efforts on new products in the application domain, concentrating on the urgent technological and user issues at hand. Additionally, it revealed that more information about the new products will be shared in the coming months.
For existing Nocturne v1 users, Nocturne stated that deposits, exchanges, and staking on Nocturne are currently suspended, and users can withdraw their funds within a year.
According to the crypto data platform RootData, Nocturne Labs completed a $6 million seed round of financing in October this year, led jointly by Bain Capital Crypto and Polychain Capital, with participation from Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, Bankless Ventures, Hack VC, Robot Ventures, and others. Subsequently, the v1 version was deployed on the Ethereum mainnet in November.
