Data: Since the listing of the Bitcoin spot ETF, the trading volume of ProShares Bitcoin futures ETF has decreased by 75%
ChainCatcher news, according to a report by CoinDesk, since the U.S. began trading the spot Bitcoin ETF (Exchange-Traded Fund), the trading volume of the ProShares Bitcoin Strategy ETF (BITO) has plummeted by 75%.
BITO is a futures-based ETF, and since the U.S. listed the spot Bitcoin ETF on January 11, its trading activity has significantly cooled down. On January 11, BITO's trading volume on the New York Stock Exchange reached a record $2 billion, but by Thursday, the trading volume was just over $500 million. Meanwhile, BITO experienced a net outflow of over $270 million during this period.
