Manta Network will compensate for the high Gas fees caused by DDoS attacks
ChainCatcher news, Manta Network tweeted that it has announced a DDoS attack Gas fee compensation plan. From January 18, 17:30 to January 20, 12:30 Beijing time, any Gas fees paid on Manta Pacific greater than 0.001 ETH will be refunded to users.
Manta Network stated that this DDoS attack did not cause any issues to its blockchain itself (the network continued to operate, and blocks continued to be generated), but due to RPC congestion caused by the attack, users were unable to access many applications or complete transactions. Users do not need to take any action for this Gas fee compensation; the fees will be directly refunded to wallets that conducted any on-chain transactions exceeding 0.001 ETH during the affected period.
